Rosco needs a hero! Rosco was surrendered to C.A.R.E. by rescuers who found this sweet guy roaming in a wooded area. Someone had placed a plastic cheese ball jar over Roscos head causing him to become overheated, emaciated, thirsty, and extremely frightened. Rosco has fully recovered from that ordeal. He has flourished into a gorgeous and affectionate dog. Rosco is cautious during introductions. But with patience and once trust is gained, Roscos goofy personality soars. He has playmates at the shelter so he is good with medium and large sized dogs. Rosco loves playing in the doggy pool and performs basic tricks for treats. Rosco is a volunteer favorite! Rosco will need a patient, dog savvy owner who can give him time to trust. No apartments please. Rosco is neutered, current with vaccinations, and has been microchipped. DOB: January 2, xxxx
